The Chelsea fans have always backed Mount, because he’s regarded by them as among the best players for the club and country. But the 22-year-old is also a target of criticism and abuse on social media.
Mount broke successfully into the first team squad of Chelsea under the direction of Frank Lampard in 2019 after a fruitful loan spell with Lampard for Derby County.

Henderson said, “That’s always a huge thing for me. Respect the opponent, especially when it comes to players you play with out of your national team.
“When you understand how good they’re and that they’re good individuals, especially in penalty shootouts, you are aware that it is never nice for individuals to avoid penalties.”
He added: “I just knew he would be feeling really down, and also be truthful, he most likely did not need me going over there thinking again, though I just needed to offer him a little bit of support because he is a top player, an excellent lad, and also he is still extremely young.”
“He’s got the planet at his feet, and I’m certain he is going to bounce back. He is going to step up and put the ball back into the net when he has another chance..
