RB Leipzig are reportedly closing in on a deal to sign Manchester United target Benjamin Sesko from Red Bull Salzburg..
The 19-year-old striker has attracted interest from clubs across Europe after scoring twelve goals in thirty nine looks for Austrian champions Salzburg.
United are reportedly considering Sesko, while Liverpool and Chelsea are also associated with a move for the Slovenia international..
Though they’re placed to overlook the forward, with Bundesliga club RB Leipzig close to agreeing a deal with the striker to join them upcoming summer.
“RB Leipzig are closing on offer to sign Benjamin Sesko for summer 2023,” tweeted transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
“RB Salzburg have rejected the proposition for this summer, Sesko is pleased to remain for one more year. #transfers
Leipzig now are closing on offer for Sesko to sign up in 2023, may be done this week.”
Leipzig’s bid for Sesko is as the club appears to cover up a deal for another striker, Chelsea forward Timo Werner.
Sky Sports News claim Leipzig have agreed a deal to re sign the forward, that left the German club to sign up Chelsea inside a £45m in 2020..
Leipzig have agreed paying a €30m (£25.3m) fee plus additional bonuses for Werner.
The Germany international is likely to go back to his home country this week to finish the move..
